This piece was created for the MattePaint "Epic Journey Challenge" where the challenge was to do a CG Extension from a 3D render (Character) by Oleksiy Golovchenko! I did 3 black/white sketches to decide the better comp using the challenge 3D render that was the character, later on I'd did a simple 3D build for the small city and mix them on photoshop for the final look.
